This was hands down the best experience! It truly felt like home away from home. All the volunteers and staff were nothing short of amazing! Jim is an actual ROCKSTAR and I will forever cherish the memories of learning to fish and catching my own fish with his help and guidance. You really can relax and let your guard down while here. It's an experience I would gladly recommend to anyone and I can't wait to visit again. So much to see on the property, equine therapy is a hit and it truly is interacting as much or as little as you want. A part of me feels a little more while again after spending the weekend here!

It’s difficult to put into words how amazing my experience was. From the moment I arrived and saw the sign I felt welcome and safe. I was greeted with such warmth by everyone there, I immediately felt at home. I was spoiled with the best food, company, and activities the entire time. I’m truly grateful to have had this opportunity and call everyone involved with Soldiers Freedom Outdoors family.

"A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN" is what we call this place, better known as Soldiers Freedom Outdoors aka Camp Freedom a non profit organization for veterans. What an amazing time last weekend!!! Horse back rides two days in a row 🐎 🐴 😲, went fishing🎣 🐟, rode buggies, were visited by blue star parents and other non profits in support that came to cook meals. The best CEO and co founder was there himself Dan DiMarco cooking and visiting with us. The best and funniest guide and ready to set up a pole for new fisherman was Jim. Rachel the best home-made guacamole maker and horse (Equine) gal this side of Florida to guide us on our trail rides (I didn't need it country girl always πŸ˜‰) but I seen a few vets ride for the first/second time and it was so amazing to see the relationship that was built between rider and horse. I strongly recommend this place for veterans!!! β€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ™Œ "Healing the hidden wounds of war." This place is a blessing, if you know what my husband has been through since he was medi vacced home you last year and how far he has come then you must know how much this place has blessed him and so many other veterans. God bless them and God bless America. πŸ™Œ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ™ŒπŸ™ #grateful #blessed #america #Outdoors #veterans
