I've been a Comcast customer off and on since the 80's back in Philly. A lot has changed since then regarding their customer service. I'm not sure how & where they get their number one customer satisfaction rating from. I mean Some of the staff are really nice but others need a customer service refresher coarse. Also, they should have a copy of Comcast/Xfinity's policies and the current promotion information on hand. They're not to concerned if they don't know the answer but are quick to tell you to go research it yourself. Make sure you have everything you need when going there. You're going to spend a long time waiting. Sometimes just to find out they don't have your product in stock. If your able to use the online service that would be your best bet.
It’s the same after 2 years. I tried to get the person who answered the phone to give me the local store number, but she claimed they don’t have it. I hate liars! The last time I was there, they were answering the phones, so I know they have a number. I tried to find out the availability for a new phone before I drive 20 miles one way, but the person barely spoke English and didn’t answer my questions. After 3 times, I asked her to connect me with someone who would answer my questions and she tried to hang up! This is NOT customer service!
I know. Hard to reach a live person. Wanted to drop off equipment and store was closed and comcast does not let you know this
So you drive all rhe way there for NOTHING.
Can you take the router with you when you move to a new location that has comcast service?

Instead of renting your HD converters, can you purchase it out right? If so, where and how much? Also, can you purchase the DVR so you are not renting every month?

The store does not sell them, only renting Monthly. I don't believe they sell the HD converters but you could write corporate and ask customer service.
We're snowbirds with a current xfinity basic cable and internet account. Do you have a specail plan to put our account on hold for the months we are not using it? Thanks.
