Everything was very nice and a very convenient location, with great space and amenities. You just won't get any sleep. Other than that it's a lovely property that even has several nice meeting/function rooms. The walls (at least in my room) were thin enough that I could very clearly hear the folks next door. They weren't loud just talking in normal tones and they were doing so until about 10:30 pm and then they were nice enough to get me up at 6:00 am so I wouldn't miss breakfast. So just maybe it was only my room but just to be safe won't stay here again. Last week I stayed at the Hampton closer to Wilson and it was great so there's that.

I was surprised to be informed on arrival that I had to pay for a room upgrade even though I'm a Hilton Honors Diamond level member. The check-in agent told us that this was a new Hilton-wide policy, but just last week I routinely received a free upgrade at another Hampton. This policy, if real, devalues the benefit of Diamond status. I'll contact Hilton Honors to clarify what's going on.

The room was spacious, a family of 4 fit well, and was not on top of each other. The staff was super friendly. The room was very clean and stocked. We enjoyed our trip. There was a great sub and pizza shop across the street. The food was excellent.

I always stay at the Hilton hotels bc they are in safe environments, clean and pleasant staff. As usual I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and I forgot some toiletries which they provided. The only thing I could complain about is that the food pantry was bare but that was due to the storm so the staff had no control but other than that as I said I enjoyed my stay. Definitely recommend.
