I would like to give this place 4 stars but at this time I honestly cannot and here's why; I am a displaced worker and read that I could apply for training under the WIOA program. I did. It took ALOT of paperwork and you would think I was trading off my first born just to qualify. However, after finally getting accepted to the training program months later, choosing and attending a school/training program, and applying for and receiving a "scholarship", the school I am attending has yet to receive the funds from the American Job Center's funders. I have spoken w/ my rep, JB, and she now states that she cant speak to them, only her supervisor can. Well, why wasnt I told this weeks ago when i sent you the first invoice back in October??? It is now December. The invoice has doubled and my college is still awaiting payment. How unprofessional is this??? I did my part, now please do yours and send the funds to my school!!! This is highly unprofessional for a city program such as the American Job Center in Hartford to be so lackadaisical and seemingly very lazy. Unfortunately, I will be dropped from class if the job center doesnt pay their portion of the funding. I am prepared to pay my portion. I have worked extremely hard to maintain good grades in this program. Pay the invoice ASAP please and thank you.

Very helpful!! In the past it was a struggle to open account at home, online. Very complicated, and so frustrating! At the job center there was a young man who was available to assist when we got stuck and didn't know what to do. So thankful for the help!!!
