For the most part the men and women of this department do a fine job. Just recently the street crime unit got four huge scumbags out of the area I live in who were selling crack and fentanyl. Say what you want about the cops but at least have some respect because they actually do a lot to keep us safe. We need MORE police presence in the North End! Can’t even tell you how many times a day I see people drive straight through the High/Lincoln St 4way stop. I’ve almost been hit several times

If you're on the police officer list, it goes on rank number and discretion of administration. If passed physical and mentally stable you basically are just waiting for either Funding or retirement. Hope that helps. Believe there was just a test
