Aptly named, Pebble Beach is not a sandy beach and is not the place you want to go lay out on your towel. It's a great place to go fishing or really hear the sound of the ocean. Waves coming up onto this beach sound much louder than your usual sandy beach.

Beautiful rocky shoreline. We were in Rockport for the night and my husband cast a few lines. Plenty of space and lovely views.

Nice beach. No official bathrooms, a Port-a-potty. Entry and exit are via a rough dirt/sand road but beach is easily accessible. No lifeguard either. Good views, lots of rocks and sand and little traffic. No other services either.

Questions & Answers

Are there places along the beach with no sand?

Very few, towards the left, facing the ocean, and those often fill w seaweed. No comfy lay on the sand spot. Bring a chair, or walk to nearby cape hedge beach
