BUYER BEWARE / DECEPTIVE PRACTICES - I've been going for years. I once loved this place, but now 90% of the time they try to overcharge me now and many of the prices at the register don't match their advertised price. Like multiple times per visit. I don't get it. I've tried to bring attention to the manager and I get some excuse about an ownership change. Then it happens again and again and again. I've ended up taking photos of prices and preparing for battle every trip. Never have this issue at Whole Foods but unfortunately is further away. Buyer beware.

This place has a wonderful selection of organic, varied food items. But the cashiers are among the rudest I have ever observed in any supermarket. There are some exceptions, and the guys who stock the food are pleasant, but there is a very unpleasant, unwelcoming attitude overall. I do shop there anyway, but try to avoid.

Chicken salad sandwiches seal is completely broken. Be careful eating their prepared food and check the seals carefully. The uncooked chicken is overpriced. The uncooked red meat is bad. The uncooked fish is ok. The microgreens is twice the price of whole foods. I only buy a few things here now, it's a decent store. Here you're not gonna find any real gems of health. Amazon gives you a bigger selection.

I would check with US Post Office or FedEx etc... about what you are and are not allowed to send by mail. I would think that's a "carrier" question.

Yes, you can almost always find fresh organic turmeric whole root at Westerly market

They do, and it's fabulous! Westerly is the best!
If you are on Facebook you can go on their page and ask questions there. I've done that, and they've been responsive. Or why not call them? They're open until midnight (Eastern time) every night!
It is not a wholesale store. You can probably get a Groupon though
