Love the flavor of the cakes but wish they were more dense and did not just crumble and fall apart specifically the coconut and the German chocolate. 8/23/2022 - The last two times I purchased the Pineapple Coconut Cake was spoiled, the pineapple filling was bitter and rancid tasting. The Cake was dry and the frosting didn't have its normal crème like consistency. The Cake Quality hasn't been consistent since the start of the business. One cake that I purchased was for a birthday party. I had to toss the entire cake and run and get one from Costco the party.

Betcha didn’t know this location was the Black Panthers first office!! ✊🏿One wall gives you some local history — read up! So, I came here for the sweet potato pies, which taste…yummy…and also very much like pumpkin pie — which was odd (I’m used to a color and texture and flavor difference). The staff was super-friendly, but what with the VERY high prices (a pie is $27.50, about 4x what you’d pay at a local supermarket), the pies appear unaffordable for neighbors in the ‘hood, cuz it was def a wallet stretch for me. Previous reviews of stale products + menu confusion + booshie prices + the constant “Looking for Workers” signs make me worry that we might lose this business 🥺 (Which would suck. Hope things turn around.)
