Google needs to be updated to reflect the accurate hours. I rented a truck to bring some old furniture down here, paid a helper, got there, and they were closed despite google saying they were open. Waste of my time and money.

Really nice staff, center is well-organized and clean. I love the funny seasonal displays they make from select recycled items! Swap shops is great, especially for kid's stuff.

If you are talking about cans, glass bottles, # 1 or 2 plastic, sure. You can drop off electronics, metal items, and table scraps, which are picked up and composted by a Hartford company. No charge
