Very beautiful place to stop I didn't do the hike but has map of trails on site and restrooms there as well the trail down to water is easy to follow though a little bit muddy. To pull in and out of parking lot can be stressful if there's lot of traffic

I love Hardesty Hardcore race, a Level 32 racing event!!! A fun Labor day weekend event!!! 14 mile or 5 mile trail run... Beautiful scenery pine needle soft trail... It's not flat though....

Beautiful trail with lots of scenery along the way. We actually hiked Goodman Trail which branches off of this one. Went about 3 miles in and turned back. Lots to see but its a moderate trail with a lot of up and down, some fairly steep. Total elevation gain was over 3,000 feet but actual was about 1,000.

Very pretty hike and forest. We still haven't traveled on all of the trails but the one we went on was very pretty through the woods with some peak a boo lookouts to the lake. Not steep and easy for kids or beginner hikers. Plus at the bottom there's a great little water spot to dip your toes in or let you dogs take a dip in.
