The railroad park was amazing. While I stayed in Caboose #2 my family stayed at the campground which was like 2 minutes away. We had a lot of fun exploring the surrounding areas especially the McCloud falls. Also had a birthday dinner in the railroad dining car for my grandson. Lots of good fun and dinner. I had the coconut curry halibut which was delicious. If you go there, enjoy, the people running the place are so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend it.

What a special place this!! We arrived in time to enjoy a fantastic dinner on Wednesday in the dinning car. (Closed Monday and Tuesday). The shrimp and grits was yummy as was the salmon! We stayed in car 26 which has a cupola where we played cards in the evening and had coffee in the morning. The bed and shower were both great. We walked the campground which was beautiful with lots of shade trees. We did go to have breakfast in the diner car, but unfortunately they don't serve breakfast. We has a blast and we will definitely be back!

Awesome staff and such a cute environment! We stayed in the RV Park right on the river! We also had dinner in the train car (DELICIOUS) and they even opened the gift shop so we could grab something after we ate! 10/10 would stay again if we travel through the area.

Fourth or fifth stay at this place over several years, and it seems to get better every time we visit. There's nothing else anywhere near here like the Railroad Park Resort. It appeals to train-fans, of course, but also to curious adventurers of all ages. The location - halfway between Portland and the San Joaquin Valley - makes it a perfect overnight stop for us.
