The Chandelier Drive Thru Tree is so neat! We stopped here as a side adventure while on our way through the Avenue of the Giants and what a find! We had no idea there were more drive thru trees than just the Shrine Tree! The Chandelier Tree absolutely towers over this little retreat, with many new trees growing up out of it and themselves towering over all of us tiny humans. It really makes you feel small, while amazing you with its majesty. To be able to live and continue growing with the center completely hollowed out is just awe inspiring. This whole area is just gorgeous to look at, with the towering trees and lovely lake, it's like walking in a postcard! Oh, can we recommend this gift shop, too?! Filled with so much stuff, too much to list, you have to stop in if you're here because if you don't you'll miss out on a place stuffed full of memorabilia and souvenirs! We spent too much time and money in here, I'll admit to that, but we also got recommendations for places to eat along the Avenue and that in itself was priceless! The girls who staff the gift shop are so friendly and welcoming, we highly recommend you plan a visit!

We loved this! Yeah it's a tourist thing, but seriously, how often can you drive through a tree?! Ok this is my second time in 20 years, and it's still fun! There's a great gift shop, several very nice people that we met and fantastic sculptures along road through the property.

It's a fun activity for kids costs 10$ per vehicle . You need to fold the side mirrors and be an expert driver to get it through the tree. Saw many people backing out after seeing the tree. The gift shop has some pretty cool stuffs . There is some ice creams available for purchase and it also has a restroom. Worth doing if you are in Avenue of Giants area

Large cars may not fit. Nice area with a lot of really cool carvings out of the stumps

It was still standing when I saw it 2 1/2 weeks ago?
