I was charged extra without warning. When I ordered the breakfast, the server asked if I wanted anything in the eggs in a way that made it seem included. So I said sure, I'd have some mushrooms, spinach, and cheese in the eggs. Later, as I was paying, I realized that I'd been charged $4.50 extra for adding those to the eggs. Not a good experience. I'm still giving two stars, though, because the food did taste pretty good.

Amazing experience! I had never had a Mediterranean breakfast, and this restaurant set a high bar. If you’re interested in an alternative to pancakes, oatmeal, and American yogurt, go try the breakfast platter at Cafe Landwer. I also ordered the Nutella latte, which was as delicious as it sounds.

They were great before the Pandemic. Since then there has been too much cost-cutting. Their “famous breakfast” is a shell of its former self. Their famous bread is now consistently dry and chewy. When their delivery drivers miss part of your order for delivery, they won’t refund the difference, even though they say they will. Glad I got to eat here a few times before lockdown, when it was great. But those days are gone. EDIT Tried them one more time (home delivery). Original estimate was 60 minutes and that stretched to 90. Goodbye Landwer, you're never getting my money again.
