Large room, interesting architecture, reflection pool was pretty cool. Air conditioning and refrigerator were loud but effective. Bed skirt was too short but the beds were comfortable and clean. Some things needed maintenance - cushions missing from some pool chairs, hot tub was out of order. Pool was clean and the grounds were interesting, staff were friendly and put some care into making sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was good, with generous servings.

Update 5/22/22. They now told me they are holding the extra money they charged on my card for 30 days. Perhaps next time I call they will tell me it will be 45 days? 5/11/22 bungalow is mediocre at best. I was told they would hold extra $100 just in case I wanted to spend more money there. I did not. I paid cash for a dinner. They charged my card anyway. Then when I checked out they said they have to hold the $100 for another week before they put it back. Also no linen in room. Front desk did not answer phone all morning. I had to walk down to the office to get a towel. I was all the way across the property in a bungalow. The girl at the front desk said she answered the phone all morning. I told her it is probably the room phone that is out of order. She gave me towels and I went back to room. I rushed a shower to check out on time. I work on the road a lot and have never been treated so poorly by hotel and staff. I’m going to file with Better Business Bureau regarding this hotel practice of holding money for 30 days.

The outside of the resort was very nice. The workers were helpful also. However, our toilet ran all day and night and was very noisy. Guest are allowed/or do smoke right outside their rooms so you have to walk through their smoke to enter your room. Which then smells like cigarette smoke. Due to Covid they do not come in and give towels or clean the rooms Unless you request it, which is just something you shouldn’t have to worry about. Overall it was alright for the weekend but I would probably not go back.

Just arrived and I feel like I was duped. I just saw the average stars given in the reviews, but didn’t read any. BIG MISTAKE! I paid $190 for a bungalow because the website photos made the room look good as well as the description. The room is very dirty, the lighting in the bathroom is so poor that closing the shower curtain puts one at great risk of falling. The woman at the front desk and the close proximity to the freeway are the only positive things about this third rate motel. This is definitely not even a hotel, much less resort. Obviously the owners have hit hard times. Instead of pulling a bait and switch, which is ruining any chance they have of regaining patronage or respect, they should only rent the limited amount of rooms that they are able to keep repaired, painted, cleaned, and provide enough towels and light bulbs for. Maybe then, they would receive enough decent reviews. Tomorrow we will have the breakfast that we paid extra for. I hope that at least will be adequate.

Yes. We brought our dog a couple weekends ago. Lots of room to walk them. It doesn't specify but we let them know ahead of time we had our pup.
Most hotels in the Redding area are over thirty years old. Gaia is around ten, but well kept and has a great restaurant and bar.
No
We do not have kitchens in units, but do have a restaurant on-site.
