Only thing decent was the service..the sushi was just super bland! The fried rolls had no crisp and tasted like they were microwaved. I’m used to good sushi in other parts of the state. If you’re looking for sushi please don’t waste your money. I hope they read some of the bad reviews and make changes!

Not the best ever sushi,but definitely hits the spot when craving. Service and staff are always prompt and pleasant. One roll didn't come out the way it was ordered,and they had no problem immediately correcting it! Their Udon Noodle Soup never disappoint s either!

If you kike Japanese cuisine and you are in Humboldt County, specifically Fortuna CA, this is the ONLY place to go! Very clean, very friendly staff. The food is served in generous portions. The food averages between 8 dollars for a single roll to around 24 dollars for a dinner plate. Not really for kids but our 12 yo loved the shrip roll and the eel rolls.

If your accustomed to eating dinner with no dinner plates, you'll love this place. One should not need to ask for dinner plates when ordering dinner but I asked the server who brought our food for plates anyway. I was provided two soy sauce dipping dishes but no dinner plates. When we finally flagged down a 3rd server and complained a fourth person was brought into the conversation who asked how she could make it right. By this time I was deeply offended. I ask for boxes so we could leave. The final straw was her implying that I brought on the lack of dinner plates myself and that one of the servers was new and didn't understand when I asked for plates. On the flip side the sushi was fresh and worth what was paid. We will not return to a restaurant that doesn't customarily provide plates with a dinner. In most dinner houses the table is set prior to guests being seated. Additionally, implying its my fault the server(s) are poorly trained or don't understand the word "plate" is just ridiculous.
