Worst service, poor customer service. I went to get a service and did not know that could not wait inside and was not given the proper instructions where to wait. Just wait outside like an animal, was told. I Asked if I could take a chair to sit in the aisle and the response was, “sitting outside the office now allowed” no instructions as to where I could sit. I had to ask if I was to stand in the aisle until called in and the male representative said to sit in an area by the elevator. I had to come to the office again and asked how would I know when to come in an d that is when the representative said that he would get me. There was no need for all of this questioning if from the get go they would have given me the proper instructions. Dominican consulate higher ups.. look into this as it was not a great experience and people in public service should know how to deal with people. This happened on 8/26/22. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. Doris Baez

Prepare to wait all day if possible. And you have to go as early as possible. You don't have to be an appointment. It's a place that doesn't have air conditioning or a fan. They know what they are doing, but they are not organized. You always have to remember that they work with the paperwork as if you were in the Dominican Republic.

I received a fast and excellent service from the ladies in the office. Very professional and knowledgeable in what they do. Do not leave a bad review if you didn't come prepared with the necessary documents! You need your cedula, your Dominican Republic birth certificate (2015 and up) and your expired passport! No you do not need an appointment, you can just walk in. Stop making things more difficult than what they need to be. I received excellent and prompt service from the ladies that are in the office.
