It was a place to lay your head and take a quick shower. Bring some air freshner and don't expect it to be updated or completely clean the towels also had stains on them. It was only $88 for the night

Was in town for a concert. The room was clean, close to everything in town plus it gives a great view of Leech Lake. Overall great stay and you can't beat the price.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, many of the spots were filled with trucks hauling their boats. If you've ever been in Minnesota, or heck just driven through it, you know that we are a state of many lakes which means lots and lots of fishing. That being said, there is a faint smell of lake when entering the rooms. This however should be expected because this is after all..the Lakeview Inn. Directly across the road is Walker's park which offers a wide variety of activities. The view from our room would have had an amazing look at the lake had the main road not been in front of us. However, the location of the motel itself is great considering how close it is to everything without being right in the center of the tourism, and our view was still pretty decent when it came to seeing the lake. Anyway, back to the rooms. They are well kept, but do not and I repeat do not come to this motel if you are expecting a HOTEL. The two beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep if you have been driving or out and about all day but don't plan to camp. Our room also had AC! There was a small couch, round table with two chairs which were all in good condition. Microwave, small coffee pot and a flat screen. The bathroom was also clean, with fresh towels. My only real criticism, I wish the main door had an extra lock to it. All in all I feel like the previous reviews didn't do this place justice. The caretaker is a quiet gentleman, but he keeps this place clean. Oh also! We didn't realize until the next morning as we arrived in the dark..but there is a small patio out back of the motel that has a grill as well. I'd say this place is worth a night or two if you want something with running water, beds, and close access to the lake and village activities without camping or spending a fortune.

Love the little kitchen in these rooms. Came with fridge/freezer, pizza oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. 2 queen size beds, air-conditioning, cute bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. I would definitely stay here again!
