Have always enjoyed this park. We never stay long, it's more of a stopping off point to let the dog out and to stretch the legs on our way to Bemidji. Restrooms are always clean and the lake is so relaxing to look at.

Great place to take your dog swimming. On a Sunday morning we walked to the west side of the park not far from the gazebo, took the concrete steps down to the lake and a dock. There was a little sandy beach. Very clean. No one was there.

This is a awesome city park I can't recommend it enough amazing statues with really cool history behind it I took some pictures so you guys can check it out also their dmv is the best by far in the area super helpful people

Nice park. Good playground equipment. Beautiful area. Parking nearby. It's right on the lake so adult supervision of young children is recommended. The shore tapers off gradually. I wouldn't say that it's meant for swimming. Most areas are rocky and there is a lot of growth on the rocks.
