So sad to see what used to be a very nice store become so bad when it comes to customer service. My son called the store to check on the availability of a product and was transferred again and again only to be told in a very curt manner that he'd need to call back before being hung up on. I then called the store and was transferred to a department where the phone just rang and rang. When I called back I was transferred again at which point I was finally able to speak with someone who answered my question. I also had a bad in store experience in the children's shoe dept. where the associate didn't seem to know much about the merchandise or how to properly size a child for a shoe. This is not the Nordstrom of the past. It's very apparent that the people who are working there now are not properly trained. Lack of training is bad but when you combine that with an individual who is also apathetic and rude then you have the recipe for a very bad customer experience. I had come to expect a certain experience when shopping at Nordstrom. They used to be top notch which kept me coming back. I don't plan on giving them my business any more.

I tried to exchange a pair of $200 jeans to the store which ripped and was lied to about the company return policy, my return was rejected, and I was forced to keep a pair of defective jeans by this stores manager Alex. She’s awful. I used to shop at Nordstrom because you could count on them backing up their products. I’ll just buy straight from the brand. Alex is the a perfect representation of how Nordstrom is trending: busted.
