Yep, better to go to the Kroger pantry in Grove City
Yes. They service everyone and you can order online.
Unfortunately, we do not. We are on a bus line. You can call 211 to see if any other organizations can provide transportation.
Yes your first time they will accept you and you can get food the same day. There after you gotta call 211 to register for what ever pantry you prefer. But the one on champion and frebis will let you go through once without an appointment
Open to walk-ups as often as you need! Schedule listed below: Mondays: 4 - 6 pm Tues, Wed, & Thursdays: 1 - 4 pm
Thank you for your kind words!
Hi Blake. We are not open on Saturdays. You can always see our locations and hours on our website at https://lssnetworkofhope.org/foodpantries/services/pantry-locations/.
Hi Joann. It's at 800 Frebis Ave. You'll get a quicker response by contacting us directly or looking on our website rather than asking a question on Google, just in case you need info in the future.
Yeah .. 211 has a text line that saveslots I'd precious time
Yes, based on family size you will be able to pick out a few pounds of meat.
Hi Frank. Reservations filled up last week. You can come by the pantry tomorrow from 1-4 though to see if you can get a basket/turkey that wasn't picked up today.
yes
Hi Craig. You must make an appointment at www.lssfoodpantries.org. Just register and then select this location and the time that works for you.
Just let them know when you sign in for your food order.
Hi. Please go to www.lssfoodpantries.org to register and make an appointment.
Hi. To place a full order, please go to www.lssfoodpantries.org or call 877-LSS-MEAL. Do not call 211 as they will not be able to schedule an appointment for you.
You don't have to be qualified...you just go in there and sign some papers..and then they give you a no.once you get a no..they call your name..and you get what you want...that is it..
Hi. We are not open at 10:30 today. We are closed at this location on Tuesday. In order to receive a full order and not just produce and bread, you must place an order beforehand. Usually you need to order a few days out. You can come without an order but only produce and bread are available. To place an order, go to www.lssfoodpantries.org or call 877-LSS-MEAL. You can find information on ordering and our business hours and locations on our website. https://lssnetworkofhope.org/foodpantries/
I dought it very much. Google 1460 s. Champion ave. Columbus ohio 43206 for their phone number and ask. I'm pretty sure they are not.
You can just walk in during open hours to get a big load of produce, but you have to make an appt by phone about a week in advance to get packaged food. The first time you must call Helping Hands. You will be on hold an hour or more. After you register by phone with Helping Hands during that first phone call, you can text for an appt in future. The produce is wonderful. The packaged is not as good. They give very little meat. Instead horrible unhealthy cans of greasy pretend stew and sugary pretend pasta.
These questions go to other consumers, not to the pantry. It is very difficult to contact the pantry directly. When you want to go to any pantry, you need to call Hands On Central Ohio about a week before you hope to go. Lutheran Social Services fills up very fast. Once you have registered with Hands On over the phone, you may text requests for future appointments. Hands On is a general number to call for appts to any pantry, not just for LSS. The food that you get if you have an appointment is pretty unhealthy -heavy on grease, sugar, and fat. But, there is another option. You can just walk in without an appointment any day when they are open, and you will get unbelievable amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables. I mean unbelievable. You get $20-40 of great produce. I think you can also ask for emergency baby formula or food as a walk-in. I know they used to give emergency baby foods to walk-ins. Not sure if they still do since they now have this wonderful produce choice.
