Got a different room than booked, charged differently than they said over the phone, sinking bed, literally even just looking at it you can see it dip towards the middle, loudest neighbor possible. Then we were charged a security deposit and that was never told to us, plus they stated it could take 39 days to come back. As for a roof over our head and running water, it served it's purpose but would not stay here again.

Why had a delayed flight. Everyone from the shuttle driver, front desk, and bar tender where amazing. Rooms where you clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this a courtyard by Marriott on Thursday March 24th and rented 2 rooms, one for my family and one for my sister’s family. When we arrived, Matthew the Operations Manager (which he told us over and over again), checked us in. The check in process took 20 minutes and at the end he asked us if we planned to leave our car while traveling, to which we answered yes. He rolled his eyes and became very clearly frustrated and explained how he would have to do everything over and how much more expensive it would be, which we were fine with. Our kids were getting restless which was clearly distracting to him and he raised his voice at my sister and I that the kids needed to “sit down and be quiet”. When we finally got to our room I called the front desk to ask if we could order pizza and have it delivered to the pool. The person who answered said yes. Once at the pool, Matt the Operations Manager came to our table, raised his voice that we could not have food in the pool. We explained what the front desk said but he said we had to “get out” of the pool area and that he would be standing there to make a sure we left. Once back in our room I got a call from the front desk that we needed to being our friends and family documents to the front desk. They never asked for them when we checked in and refused to let me email them to them like I have at every other Marriott we have used a friends and family discount at. Both of my kids were sleeping so I could not go use their printer and provide them to them. The woman who called explained she would be adjusting our room to the regular rate because I would not bring them down. It should be a basic expectation that they ask for these documents at check in and I should not have been further inconvenienced or treated like I was acting deceptively because of their oversight and lack of operational ability. The final straw for us was we had dirty glasses, sheets and floor in our room. Also, In advance I verified they had a shuttle service to the airport and they confirmed they did starting at 4 AM. When we called to set that up they said it didn’t start until 5 AM making it totally purposeless for us to stay there. We have been Marriott members for a long time and our family always appreciates the care and service we receive at every Marriott property. This location, and specifically Matt the Operations Manager, is the exact opposite of the brand and quality Marriott works so hard to lead by example with. This was a terrible start to our vacation and we will reconsider our use of Marriott going forward.

I find it a bit ridiculous that I can stay at a hotel for five nights and yet never receive housekeeping service of any kind. I realize that hotels and many other service industries are using the pandemic con as a way to usurp traditional levels of customer service but I have to believe they’re shooting themselves in the foot, as housekeeping was one advantage to choosing a hotel over an Airbnb. The Courtyard isn’t the Waldorf but it’s not a Motel 6, either.

If we spend the night can we leave our car there and use the shuttle when we fly out for for a week vacation? Is there a cost for leaving our car?

You have to tell them you will be parking your car because they require you to fill out a form for your car upon arrival. They include the parking price in the price of the room in their park and fly package.
