Fun spot to take the family. Good for nostalgia but the food is bottom rung fast food. Root beer is awesome but the weiners are sad. They have the potential to be great, but they skimp on toppings compared to other establishments. Update 9/2022 Weiners are still pretty sad with the bare minimum for toppings. I make NY System weiners at home, so I know how cheap ground beef, spices and onions cost, even with today's inflated prices. People come from out of state for RI hot weiners. A&W should deliver the goods and make them properly.

I grew up going to A&W and this was not what i remember the rootbeer was flat food was overpriced took my son for his first and last experience very disappointing.

OK, so this one's a throwback. I brought my 90 year old Mom out for a Root Beer Float. It was awesome in everyway. The 5 stars is for the Float! It brought back a flood of memories!
