Very very disappointed with this facility!!! The food is absolutely terrible!!!! My mother was served a turkey sandwich and the bread had all mold on it!!!! Really???? Unacceptable!!!! Everyone complains but when they talk to the CEO or administrators, they lie and tell my parents "well, everyone else likes the food". which is a blatant lie!!!! The administrators, etc. tell them what they "think" they want to hear to pacify them without addressing the issues!!! The amount of money that the residents are paying per month, they should be getting top notch food instead of cheap Sysco food! My parents are spending more money on going out and getting food than they should be!!!! It is not worth the money!!!!! No wonder why residents move out and go to other facilities! Do your research before committing to this facility!!

Great to work with! I was really apprehensive about placing my Uncle Joe here. He has had many issues with falling out of bed and out of his chair. Many times I have rushed over to his home only to find him on the floor and unable to get up. I was really worried how resistant he would be to assisted living and how he would adjust. But after his last fall, I was able to convince him to try it. Boy, am I happy! In just a few short weeks, I saw him thriving. His entire demeanor changed, he even met some old friends living there. I'm tearing up thinking about how he is back to being the Uncle Joe I remember. What a relief and a blessing. I am so so grateful to The Village and the entire staff there. They care and they're wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Very disappointed in my parent's experience at this facility. Have had other family members here in the past so my first reaction was to place my parent here. Things have changed. There seems to be little as far as strategies used to handle behaviors that come with dementia. Not sure whether meds were administered properly. Communication of policies was not handled well. Found out information only by asking. Contract not reviewed when the family was in a state of extreme anxiety. My parent was sent out to the hospital so only in residence for 4 days of the month. We moved furniture out early when we decided to remove my parent so they could turn over the room. They still would not refund any portion of the $7200 paid in advance. We understand use of the room, but no refund of care services? Seems the Villages is all about the money and not understanding these are elderly people experiencing the worst time of their lives.

I work in the courtyard and we have a wing that is a dedicated nursing home.
