My mum passed away about a week ago. The staff was very friendly and helpful considering the difficult situation my family and I had been going through. They made sure everything was ok. I am grateful with all of them as they made this transition smooth as possible. Thank you 🙏

My family was deeply hurt by a potentially illegal experience involving this company. TLDR: My grandfather’s casket was still open when they wanted to talk money. Horrible to deal with, no people skills; they mysteriously “buried” him when we weren’t present and said we weren’t allowed to visit the grave for a few days due to irrigation problems. My grandfather planned and paid for everything prior to his death. The company underwent a change of ownership between his payment and his death and were hesitant to honor the contract. They even tried to haggle us before the viewing was even over. My grandmother died a few years before and was cared for respectfully. We took the casket straight from the viewing to the burial sight a little ways away. We bore her casket, put her in the ground honorably, and said our peace to include several family rites and traditions. They told us after we settled accounts and with my grandfather’s casket still open, that we had to leave and they would have to do the burial another day next week because they were “fixing the sprinklers”. All of us had flown to Florida, so that would mean we couldn’t witness the burial. We pushed back, and after extensive negotiation, they said they would call us later in the afternoon (around 4 pm) and everything would be set up for us to watch the burial. With no phone calls and no responses to our calls, we went to the burial site around 5 or 6 pm to find unattended construction equipment near the grave site with mud, dirt and tracks everywhere. They had buried my grandfather before we got there and never told us. We had lost the opportunity for closure and could not witness his body go to its final resting place. The man who coordinated our contract had left the office and could not be reached. We hastily performed as much of our family’s tradition as possible with construction vehicles and landscapers operating equipment as we prayed. This experience left my family feeling empty and violated. This occurred around September 2021 and I debated for a long time whether or not to leave a review as I don’t typically write them, good or bad. I hope they didn’t steal or sell my grandfather’s body, and I hope no other family has to go through this kind of experience amidst all the complication of saying goodbye to a loved one.

We found solace and comfort in our time of sorrow with Chris and everyone there. we had no idea what to do with everything that happened so quickly. Chris made everything OK and bearable so with that said thank you all for taking the time we needed.
