I do NOT recommend Dr.Jon Stoneburner. Not only could his highly inappropriate conversations to someone on his personal phone be heard from the seats I was told to wait in, for him. Right next to my 4 year old son. Then after proceeded to greet my son by asking “Is that your girl friend?” About Me…. Gross but ignored. Called me to the office, very informal visit, wasnt instructed properly on what I was supposed to be reading to him and when. Very rude over all, then proceeded to smack his clipboard infront of my sons face. My son has sensory disorders, specifically sounds and touch, this man doesn’t know us why on earth is he doing this! Then he turned and did it to ME! I’m here to get glasses and get on with my day, no be held captive and have my son and I harassed. I highly recommend the support staff at this location. They were amazing find the right glasses however. Despite how horribly grotesque their Doctor ‘s behavior was.

Made appointment for both myself and my husband. We were greeted by Sherry who made us feel welcome immediately. Sherry had our paperwork together and before we knew it Dr. Jon Stoneburner called us in. What a great guy really makes you feel comfortable. It's refreshing having a doctor with a sense of humor along with being thorough. After Sherry fitted me in bifocal contacts while Hubby picked out frames. Thanks folks for serving us with true integrity. YES we recommend Optical Outlets

Terrible experience, don’t waste your time. First the doctor didn’t even get my prescription right and reeked like cigarettes it was disgusting. I walk in and glasses are falling off displays. The radio was static like just turn it off so annoying. Front desk lady arguing with a customer in front of patients. I’ve been trying to call and order contacts for 4 days straight no one answers the effing phones here! I’ve never been to such an unprofessional eye doctor in my life. My insurance is covering my copays to go somewhere else thank God! Even the call center couldn’t get ahold of this location lmao. This place is a joke like absolutely nobody cares about patients.

A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of comfortable and pain-free tests that offer a close-up look at your eye health and visual function. Between having all the tests performed and discussing the results with our eye doctor, you can expect your visit to last up to an hour.

It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.

How often are eye exams needed?

While it’s always a good idea to have an annual eye exam, how often an eye exam is needed depends on several factors. A patient’s age, family and personal medical histories, a previous eye injury, existing eye conditions, and environmental or occupational factors determine the recommended frequency. The American Optometric Association offers specific guidelines for both children and adults. As your trusted partner in care, our office will discuss the most appropriate schedule to protect the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
