Exploitation enabled by unethical laws and a corrupt legal system. It's never in the best interest of children. It's always in the best interest of the financial insitutions. The real deadbeats are spiteful women who feel entitled to "child support" while using children as a weapon against fathers. I get more calls from child support than my own child. Gross system encouraged by gross people.

I believe it is 19 now unless the child goes to college. If they go to college you continue to pay until age 21

Regardless of the reason, unless you are the primary parent you will end up paying support. How much time the child is with you will play into account as well as how much you.make before taxes per pay period
