Went to Shane co. Today to see if they would be interested in a engagement ring I no longer needed. When I walked in with the ring I bought from another jeweler 5 months ago for $4500 the lady at the counter was very eager to get it cleaned up and give me a appraisal. Waited for 20 minutes and when I finally got called up to the service desk they offered me $58 because they said they be scraping the ring. She kindly suggested I should sell in on Facebook marketplace for quite a bit more. I would recommend shopping around at other jewelers before going to Shane co.

Yes. They will replace most batteries for you, so long as they are able to remove the back.
It is dependent on the quality of diamond. Best way to find out would be to bring it into the store so ShaneCo can evaluate it and see if it is something they'd be willing to extend an offer for.
