This library is HUGE and it's a great place to study!! The different levels have different noise levels (1 and 2 are normal volume, 3 is currently closed, 4 is whisper, and 5 is deathly quiet). I really like the 4th floor because it is the largest floor and people are still very quiet. The 5th floor is nice but I feel like I'll be judged if I drop a pen. People who can study in the 2nd floor (the main floor) are gods because there is usually so much noise and walking around.

The library used to be my second home but now I have to find another place to do my work as too often the library smells really bad as UCF allows homeless people to hang out there. I am no longer able to concentrate and do work at the UCF library because the strong foul body odor impregnated throughout the 5th floor, the elevators, and other areas and also because I no longer feel safe there. I do feel bad for homeless people but the university library shouldn't be a homeless shelter because this interferes with the productivity and wellbeing of the students. UCF should provide a safe and clean space for students. I know other students who think the same and no longer use the library. Why would UCF spend so much money in library renovations if students cannot use it because they don't feel comfortable or safe at their state of the art library....

You only have to pay to park. The library is free to visit and you can use its resources in the building without paying anything. You have the option of purchasing a community card for $30 if you want to take books out of the library.
