After attending ONE service and filling out the registry as a guest, I feel as if I'm being pursued by this church, with unannounced visits to my home, phone calls from unknown people associated with the church. Had I known my info would be shared I would not have left it. Perhaps I'll go back next week and start asking for phone numbers, addresses of their congregation, see how well that is received. I love Christ, my Savior, but THIS church has not gotten the memo with respect to people's privacy.

At a local park, two adult men drove up in a van and proceeded to act like kidnappers- one distracted the parents while the other approached minor children without permission. When a mother had a problem with this, the two men stood between her and her daughter keeping them apart. It wasn't until the mother started screaming that they backed off. Could see the logo on the van and they said they were with the calvary baptist church. Don't know if they were legitimately part of the church or not but they were using the name and ABSOLUTELY behaving like predators. If y'all find this acceptable, you're not a safe place for families. Keep your creeps away from my nieces and my sister.

Although the people in this church are kind and welcoming, the leaders hold to the Arminian view of election. This view goes against the sovereignty of God and the very clear teaching by Paul in Romans and Ephesians. A 6 year old child, not influenced by the liberal church, could understand this teaching! Very dangerous heresy!
