When we got there they kept suggesting a bigger and more expensive glass cage, we’ve had a hamster before and it was kept in a wire mesh cage. The person there said that for a single hamster we needed at least a 20” long when they kept 2 hamsters in what seemed like a 20”.

Petco is the place to go to meet all of your pets grooming needs. Just tell the groomer what you want including any extras and you’ll pick up your pet about 2 1/2–3 hours later and they’ll look great! Most highly recommended!

I tried to return a crate I purchased at the Petco store on April 15 and April 23, 2022 and I was told I couldn't return it because my account was blocked due to "too many returns" which is ridiculous since I only returned two items in 2022 and all previous returns were from 2021(4 items). I called the SAR report number on the denial receipt and was told there isn't a specific number that a customer has to reach for their account to be blocked and they claimed to put a warning in my 2021 receipt which I was never even told about. I was told my account would be blocked until May 10, 2022 and I explained I had a receipt that would reach 30 days on May 9, 2022. I was told I could go into the store and receive store credit. I went to Petco twice and was denied a return before the 30 days and the manager at the Carle Place location denied me store credit today, May 11, 2022. I explained the situation and what I was told by the SAR customer service representative and she said she wouldn't offer me store credit because she didn't want to risk it if anything went wrong in the system. I called corporate and filed a complaint because I went TWICE before the 30 days and I had the denied receipt and she still wouldn't allow me to get store credit. The Petco employee said the manager could offer store credit if she wanted to and she still refused. Needless to say I emailed Petco to delete my account and I will receive a follow up email regarding my corporate complaint.

Wonderful selection of fish. Prices is a little high but have no choice because this is the only pet store where I am. All the other pet stores closed down. Hard to find a worker in the aquatic section since there doesn't seem to be an employee nearby frequently.

I think its 18 due to the living creatures being sold (its a liability to Petco if you're a minor), but call them... certain stores sometimes have different rules. Good luck :)
Good. Masks required and social distancing are adhered to. Cashier's have shielding and staff are masked.
