Maybe some more reception training is needed but, called to see if I needed a refill on a medication and was told by the receptionist, 'Um, how am I supposed to know? I wouldn't know if you needed a refill.' I'm no expert but, when you call a doctor's office, you aren't asking the receptionist if they personally know. Or, am I wrong? I try not to people much and maybe some things have changed... This was on Monday. Still no call back.

I am on Regular Medicare, not an PPO or HMO and I do not have supplemental Medicare coverage nor Medicaid. I have never had a billing problem with Dr Young's office and I've been her patient for nine years. Dr Young is very kind and takes the time to explain things. She prescribed a Dexcom blood sugar monitor after my spouse came home from work at 9:15 pm and found me face down on the cement garage floor in a severe low sugar reaction. I had laid there since collapsing at 6:30pm. This Dexcom device has prevented more of these attacks and I am grateful. I highly recommend Dr Lisa Young to anybody with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus like have.
