If you like a friendly and clean bakery with interior and exterior seating this is a place for you. I visited for the first time last week when looking for a local bakery to get a cake for a dinner I was invited to and wandered into this gem. My first impression was one of appreciation at how fabulously clean this place was. Walking in I was greeted with a beautiful display and a well lit cafe style seating area, behind it a small retail display with some Euro goods and unique ingredients. Next turning toward the interior of the shop, oh the beautiful displays of sweets, petit fours, marzipan goodies, cookies, cakes, pies and other pastries. Absolutely stunning display. Again the display was complimented by the spotless manner the store was kept. Here shout out goes to staff, everyone was positively friendly and helpful (thanks to Michelle). All were willing to share their favorite items as suggestions and were so kind in explaining what the different tortes were. I ended up getting a lovely lemon cake that had a bright sunny flavor, that complimented the early dinner theme that day. Hours are limited to mostly before 6pm so get there early but totally worth a visit. Almost forgot there is a nice outdoor seating area adjacent to the parking lot that would be great to sip a coffee and nosh on a sweet with a friend.

I placed a large, last minute "thank you" order yesterday afternoon for a very important reason/group of people - I won't go into detail here, but will say the staff found out what the order was for, and went above and beyond to help fulfill it and offer their support. A simple thing, really, but it means a lot. And while I know I'm being vague, I just wanted to shout-out the wonderful people at Heidelberg…thank you! The food is great too, of course!

My wife and I have been going here for years and had custom cakes for nearly every occasion. Best one (although pricey and rightfully so) was a recreation of our wedding cake. 3 tier cake with each tier being a different contrasting flavor, with a nice diamond shaped pattern and non editable silver balls. Absolutely beautiful. We got hooked during covid when they would make all kinds of bratwurst eith flavors i havent heard of before on Saturdays outside. It was nice, since they returned to normal operations I don't think they do it anymore but they should.
