I've been a member of LA Fitness since 2012 or thereabouts and had been going to this location exclusively. To say the quality and offering has dropped is an understatement. Quite a few machines, especially ellipticals are rusted or not working. Downstairs, you'll find broken ones and missing weight plugs so they're useless. Lot of racquetball courts that people rarely use and basketball court with sagging floors in some areas. They used to offer good classes (yoga and such) but apparently no longer do. The really seemed to go downhill dramatically when the Herndon club opened. I upgraded to a Signature Club membership hoping Herndon and Ashburn would be better. Their machines are newer but it seems to be overrun with treadmills. I've never been greeted by a staff member and half the time there's no one at the front desk. This is one of the only saving graces at Dulles Town Center location. There's always someone there to say hi or welcome people. I'm looking for another gym in the area that actually provides more than just a very few resistance machines and treadmills. For the price it just doesn't seem worth it to me anymore.
