Horrible if I could put no stars I would, the people are lazy and now you can’t even speak to your case worker, you can only call the help center, they hang up on you or you wait for hours and when you finally do get a answer they lie and say 10 days but you’ll wait forever. It is now going on 3 months for me and I still have no food stamps they keep saying check my card and also they offer no homeless services only referrals that aren’t helpful either. Me and my family been homeless since April of this year still no help and I’m pregnant and still no food stamps.

I been calling for a month and no one has returned my called I put my child’s information on the online system and get a letter in the mail telling me I didn’t summit information for reapplying! That is a lie I did it July 5 and the reapply date was for July 25 no one called or anything Today is the 25 of Aug and nothing been don’t about my case and they still not answering the call! What is going on!

You know that is a question I can't answer. If they had a direct contact number for clients that would be great. You can try and call the voice services and it may give you information. But the only other way is to go in if you can't get any information that way. Unfortunately trying to reach a person is a no win situation. It's a Major Problem!

No you can't just walk in. The office building is closed unless you have an appointment then security will let you in. You can also pick up applications outside the door
There's a sign on the front door of their office that has contact information for applying for all of those kinds of services. You should be able to apply on the internet.
You must go to the health department for metro access to be set up. CCDSS does not offer that service
Walk in applications are accepted M,W, and friday. Make sure you have ID paystubs, social security cards, lease and another proof of residence for speedy service. Or you can apply online and just upload the documents.
