I really like this place. The backyard garden, found by going through an intensely narrow alley to the left of the cafe, is a great hideaway. They have boardgames and chess available for use if you want to get your geek on, which we did. The location is great: across from the old court house. Oh, and it has AC inside. Check it out. Try the Santa Fe: the microgreens and smoked ham make for a dynamite flavor.

My family took me to Shoes for my birthday brunch! The food was delicious, the mimosa flights were cold, fizzy and fun, the staff was kind and the company was wonderful❣️

Unique back area (secret garden). My kids loved it. My food was ok, however there were several other dishes that I wanted to try based on menu descriptions or seeing it on other tables. I will be back to give those a try.

Never got seated after waiting for 30 min. We were initially asked to wait, then noticed people that were coming in were getting seated before us (without a reservation) it wasn’t even busy. We were the only ones waiting for 30 min. I got up and asked how long the wait was, they told us to wait for the host, who had initially asked us to give him a second. He came back asking if we were waiting for a table. As if he had no idea he had asked us to wait. Waited for about 5 more minutes, while other people were getting seated and eventually left. They just ignored us.
