A wonderful peaceful little spot in Baltimore to escape the world for a bit! Just go. And although it's free, they appreciate donations.

My favorite spot in Baltimore so far. The building is an incredible and gorgeous piece of history. The grounds are beautiful, the plant life is exceptional.

Small but beautiful and robust conservatory with friendly and knowledgeable employees. A lovely way to spend an hour or 2, they ask for a small donation to visit, I paid $5. If you plan on doing a photo shoot, i.e. engagement photos, fashion shoot, photos you plan to sell then you do have to buy a photography permit. They also have a small section of plants for sale at very reasonable prices.

A nice little place to take a break and recharge your batteries. The gentleman at the reception is a little treasure, he knows the place by heart and he is ready to tell you great stories and describe each section of the garden in detail.

The Druid Hill Farmers Market is on the Conservatory grounds. The Market's normal schedule is Wednesdays, June - October 3:30 - 7:30 (or whenever the sun sets). June - September, the Conservatory stays open until 7 p.m. on market nights. In October, the Conservatory closes normal time, which is 4 p.m. This year (2018), there is not market on October 31 (we are not trying to compete with halloween!). I hope this helps. Thanks for your inquiry!
