The paralegal, although friendly, seemed a bit a loof. When I asked about how much it cost to get both of my documents notarized she was unsure, however she took initiative to ask. Big plus. Upon returning though, she still didn't have a definitive answer. So, I asked to speak with the gentleman that knows the info I need directly. After having already notarized one of my documents he tells me it's 10$ per document. Shocked of course, that my document was notizarized before I gained full-clarity on pricing I told him the price was out-of-my league. He responded with "Well I charge for the work I put in" which is true and fine. However, if some one (paralegal) would have communicated with me from the beginning exactly what the price was prior to getting one of my documents notarized Icould have made a more informed decision but no ...now I was stuck paying him 10$. I mentioned this to him and calmly says "I think there was a miscommunication here" looking in the direction of the paralegal but not directly at her. I think he knew where the mistake came from at that point. It happens right? So anyway he ends up notarizing both documents for the price of one, after I pleaded him to, of course. Thank you for redeeming yourselves. And thank you to Eris for being educated, mature, and professional enough to recognize what happened and calmly adhering to a solution. All-in-all my experience there was good.
