I received a email from Elxai for maintenance on my outdoor landscape lighting. I called them and agreed to have them come out because I had some bulbs that were out anyway. I also told them that I wanted to walk the property with them because there were areas with no lighting. The tech they sent was an awesome young man and when he called to get a price they told him to tell me that I could only buy the light if I bought a $2000 maintenance plan plus S2995 for 10 light. I then was told that I would just have to pay full retail per lights a la cart . Later on in the day I called to speak to a manager and I told him that was a low way to do business. Then they took of the maintenance and agreed to sell it to me. Well obviously I'm not buying anything from them, I have already spent about $50,000 with them and this is the way I get treated. I told the Mgr., how would the owner like your sneaky business practices and he replied he was the one who told us to do it. Well there you go . Stay clear of them or proceed with caution. Anthony was outstanding and so was Mary when I called her at the office to schedule. I have been a client for 5 years now and two homes. There can be glitches here and there but that is the difference between a terrible company and a good one. What they do when things aren't perfect and Elxai stands behind what they do 100%. Anthony was superb I had an issue with my new system and he took the time to correct entirely even though it meant a little extra time and work. Thank you!
