We have been forced to stay with Amerigas for the last 17 years. The customer service has diminished tremendously in the last few years. You cannot get ahold of anyone and when you do they really don't speak english. When you go to their office still no response. They force you to stay with their company but offer terrible repair response time and you are left without propane for as long as they deem necessary. ABSOLUTE WORST!

Worst customer service ! In 6 months they did what they wanted charges, not filling the tank on time, etc. But, when it becomes on charging my account they are always on time. Can’t believe I have to call many times in order to get service. The people over the phone are really lack of common sense. Not help you at all. How a good company such us Amerigas became the worst in all aspects . I’ll be switching my business to TECO GAS I will pay to be connected to a gas pipe. But, I won’t be dealing with these people anymore, Get back into service and reliability remember we your customers pay your bills!

The customer service is atrocious! It's all outsourced, with many of the service agents hardly able to speak English. Our delivery schedule was changed without our knowledge causing us to run out of gas. When we finally got a delivery , the delivery man was very pleasant and efficient but somehow the pilot light was extinguished after he left. Now it has again been such a mission trying to get a service tech to return and find out what the issue is. Result : still no response. You get put on hold, the call gets dropped and all you get is apology after apology. Definitely going to look for an alternative.

If I could give this company no stars I would do it in a heartbeat. I’ve had continuous issues with Amerigas. Constant misinformation, incompetent customer service agents, and uncertainty. The worst that can happen is you run out of gas…expect over 1.5 weeks to go by without a delivery - especially as a will call customer. Shortage of drivers, no firm delivery dates, and unnecessary charges. If you have all the time in the world, expect to be calling them everyday. And if I cancel my account there’s a $150 pickup charge per tank (I have 3). Never ending nightmare.
