Poor maintenance and not clean all around. Itchy after sleeping on the bed for one night, AC is not tempt-control and just keeps blowing, expensive for such a low quality place.

This inn was not nearly as nice as we expected based on the pictures and reviews. The room looked looked and dingy and was very small. It was either too cold or too hot and the AC was very loud. The restaurant closed early at 9pm which was very annoying and the continental breakfast was awful - probably the worst we’ve ever had. Definitely not worth the price and will not stay here again!

The location is fine - less than a 10 minute walk to downtown Mystic, but the hotel is on a hill and there's no pedestrian egress to the street level so you have to walk down their winding driveway filled with blind turns. Downright dangerous. I was upsold a room with a view when I made my reservation. This was just an outright scam. Yes you can see the water on 1/6 of the horizon, but mostly my view is of parking lots, highway, and run down outbuildings. The rooms have what seems to be linoleum on the floors, and the beds are rocks and are fitted with child size pillows that should have been thrown away years ago. The rooms also have window unit air conditioners (think low rent Holiday Inn) that are super loud and run constantly. We couldn't even bring ourselves to use the 80s shower with crumbling grout and broken, filthy looking fixtures. Seriously - save yourself the outrageous amount they're charging for this place. Worst value for my money that I've gotten in ages.
