I appreciate that the park is locked. I want to make sure the dogs that frequent the park are healthy and have had their shots. There are many other parks in Jacksonville for your dogs if you want a free park.

If you plan on registering, I was told the key fobs are on backorder until end of June so they aren't taking any new dogs until then.

Sign just states over 30 lbs but you do need a membership

I have a 6 month pup that is 48 pounds. He loves to run and play. We usually go to Ed Austin Park, is this a "playful" dog park or just normally walk the dog.

You need to get a key from Jax Bch city hall. $50 a year.
