The Reward Fleet

We went on a morning trip and the experience is consistent with all the bad reviews of the reward fleet. We weren’t even given the proper equipment to fish so the bait never got close to the bottom due to lack of weight. The crew did have the proper equipment and are the only ones who caught multiple fish. And like the other reviews, the crew are only interested with their own fishing enjoyment. It’s too bad that they dont set you up for a good fishing experience. You would be really lucky if you can land multiple fishes on this trip. And we only had 7 people fishing. I can’t imagine having 20 people on a trip with 20 lines out. And the boat ride to the fishing spot is about 1 hour each way so ur only fishing for 2 hours max. Also, just because you book the trip online doesnt mean that you will head out. Our first trip got cancelled with no notification. And it is almost impossible to get ahold of these guys when you call. The captain was nice and friendly but thats about it. The mates are grouchy and not helpful at all.

If you’re in Miami, this is a must! The team made an already amazing fishing trip, epic. We started in the morning and had such a great time, we stayed for the afternoon, and then the evening too! We caught all kinds of fish, which they then filleted for us and took home to cook. Chef’s kiss! They really care about everyone having a great time! We will definitely be back! PS, the views and the ride were worth it alone.

We had a great time fishing the reward if you want to catch mutton snapper grouper yellow tails black fin tuna and any pelagic the reward is the best boat in Miami # 1 great captain’s David and Wayne. The mate’s are first class Carlton, Dre ,Maria very helpful and have a lot of knowledge on offshore fishing. Check them out I approve this message Mutton Mike
