Wow!!! Amazing place! Guy trip, no kids, but ended up video chatting everyone. If you aren't giving this place 5 stars you are eating animal feed. Greatest tourist attraction of all time!
Shepherd Momma Hunt
This place is expensive but well worth it! We had a great time and will be back. We got there about 230 and only had time for the drive through so next time we will go earlier so we can do the walk through as well. They have a retail store in the walk through area and you can buy food to feed various animals including the giraffes! The drive through food was $3 each or 4/$10. The admission was $20 adult and kids 2-12 $12. They closed at 5pm. Super fun family day. Probably a little miserable when it's hot out. But was a good temp the day we went. The easiest things for us to feed were the ostriches, thought they made a mess, and the deer. The buffalo heads are so big they can't fit their mouth in the bucket so they wind up trying to take the bucket from you. The camel's take the bucket from you. The llamas are unruly sometimes. We did have one spit on us because the one that was already eating wouldn't move when the taller one came and tried to push him with his head. So when the shorter didn't move the taller one spat on us. We did have a mess in the car afterward due to the food spilling when ostriches ate. But it can be cleaned. Nothing too bad just the feed in floor.

Absolutely worth every cent! The drive through lasts about 2+ hrs then there's the walk through petting Zoo. They've expanded the drive through pastures so the Bison no longer cause traffic jams, and there's A LOT of new animals running around...tapir, Wildebeest, Midnight Peacocks, red river hogs and more. My oldest loves hand-feeding carrots to George the Giraffe, my middle kid loves the aviary and my youngest loves getting lost in the goat herd at the petting zoo. Plan for 3-4 hrs there.

Lots of great friendly animals in an up close experience that kids and adults will both love. A great option for entertainment during quarantine times because you remain in your car the entire time.

My wife and I went 2 weeks ago and we had so much fun! We got 8 buckets of food import them all into a giant Rubbermaid container in the back seat so that when the animals come up to the window and start eating they only get what we have portioned out for them. I definitely recommend you do something similar will eat way more food than the other animals near the end. It is a very long ride through the entire park and it took us close to an hour or maybe an hour and a half before we finished. The petting zoo was fun and the gift shop has a parrot and a cockatoo along with some amazing reptiles! Overall I think this is definitely worth a trip if you live anywhere nearby. We drove from Memphis
Yes you can! But I would worried about ostrich getting you. Lol
Monday - Saturday: Gates open at 10:00am Last car in at 4:00pm **Park closes at 5:00pm** Sunday: Gates open at 12:00pm Last car in at 4:00pm **Park closes at 5:00pm** Ticket Pricing $16 ADULTS $12 KIDS AGES 2-12 YEARS Children 1 and under FREE OPEN EVERYDAY EXCEPT CHRISTMAS AND THANKSGIVING CASH ONLY AT THE GATE
To me your car is fine as long as it is not convertible. I don't believe the animals kicking the car unless you provoke them. In there, the animals have the rights of the road, not you.
Adults $14, kids 2-12 $10, 1 & under free. Cash only
The website has the admission fee. But I think its $20 per adult & $16 for 12 and under..then under a certain age is free.
Idk about the drive in movie but to get in the safari park its $20 per adult and 12 for kids older than 2
$20 adults, $12 children, $3 for one bowl of feed, or $10 for 4 bowls. They are big bowls and there are HUNDREDS of animals. I recommended buying all 4, you may lose a bucket of feed while trying to feed them. You want to feed the giraffes at the very end, that was the best part.
Well, unfortunately, Mr. Danals, you're not allowed to have any pets in the park at all. It's a safety issue. Sorry.
No there are no lions. However as Hazel states it was wonderful!
Yes Teresa, plenty at the entrance/exit. Includes a visitor center, petting zoo and a gift shop
$16 for adults & $12 for kids (2yo to 12yo). Buckets of food are $3/ea or 4 buckets for $10. The staff recommended a minimum of four. We bought 6 and only had about a half a bucket left at the end. Have fun!
Animals are in wide open space for most part, so doesnt matter what time of year you go
$16.00 for adults ages 12-2 $12.00. 1and under free.
Most all animals are great. Have a couple that like to be overbearing. A great place to go.
About an hour depending on how much time you spend with each animal. Beware of the ostriches, because they will eat all the food, if you buy food to fed them and they can knock it out of your hands before you know it. I hope this helps.
$14 for adults, $10 for kids 2-12.
They had showtime posted but I don't know what they are.
I'm not for sure
Yes we went in rain. They only close if there is a thunderstorm or extremely bad weather
Check their website for admission pricing. I do recall they only accept cash for admission and feed.
The price is $ 20 per adult and $ 12 for children. If you can take children of 2 years
No pets
The website says to call during inclement weather.

I did not see any discounts listed other than in group tours. Thank you for your service Sir, and if you do get the chance you should go... it was amazing.
There is not a mask mandate. You can wear a mask if you want, but it's not required. They leave it up to the customer to decide whether they want to wear a mask or not. I applaud the Tennessee Safari Park for giving their customers the freedom to decide for themselves whether to wear a mask or not. I wish more places were like this.
Park history The exotic animal collection was started in 1963 by Claude Conley Sr. when he was 15 years old and brought in buffalo to the farm, which has been in the Conley family since the 1850s. The collection grew over the years, and the family opened it as a safari park in 2007.Nov 25, 2018
No sorry they are not they ask you at the window before the drive thru to make sure the other animals are safe and not frighten or chased down by other animals
No
No
Yes I was just there not to long ago, you just have to wear a mask when you are done, and want to walk and see the other animals.
Zebra, giraffe, bison, ostrich, kangaroo, addax, camel, eland, deer, wildebeest, african orxy, peapocks, emu, bulls etc.. It's worth the price you pay for
16 for adults 12 for 5 and up but it was well worth it
No there is no camping. The Zoo is actually in Dyersburg, right outside of Jackson TN.
I would recommend going on a week day and at least getting there by 12pm
The animals are still out and active in the rain. It was raining when I went.
Unfortunately no. But there are a bunch of other great animals! Completely worth it to go :)
They only accept cash, and the veterans discount is a free bucket of food to feed to the animals!
You can get a discount
$16 for adults. $12 for kids 2-12 yrs. And the food buckets were 4 for $10
Yes only closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Your car could be damaged. They have a ride to carry you through if you don't want to risk it. I made it with out damage, but I have heard of damage to cars.
Don't remember exact price but if you happen to check out their website it lists the prices for admission and feed for the animals. I remember that is where I found the info before my family went.
You could call them. I emailed them and got a response in 5 mins
Idk it said no outside animals but they might make exceptions for service animals
No not at all. Everyone has to be inside the vehicle. Domestic animals are also not allowed.
Yes. Opens at 12
Seems like it was about 50. 2 adults and 1 child
The gift shop takes debit or credit, but to get in and buy feed is cash only.
Yes
I guess you can call it what you like, but it's actually a bus that has been retrofitted to make it capable of hauling a pretty good crowd. You can feed the creatures from the open sides. The bus can be reserved, but they tend to reserve only for a group.
No
$16 for adults, $12 for kids 2 - 12. $3 for a cup of feed. $10 for 4. And yes, Bring CASH.
Yes. Also folks in hatchback cars had their hatches open and kids seated with an adult for more fun.
Adding to the answers $3 per cup $10 for 4. Recommend buying one per person willing and able to feed. Kids under 2 dont need tickets.
Check the website
Yes
Its $16 adults & $12 kids, under 1 yr old free. Feed cups are $3 per bucket or 4 cups for $10. Yes, cash only. Would recommend checking to see if they are open before going - they close without much notice!
Yes, the laamas will stick their heads in your vehicle & many of the animals are used to coming to the cars to get food. As long as you don't care if you get wet & your vehicle a bit muddy.
Good question. I'd say no. They have trolly-like bus for groups. Call to make sure.
Not sure, check out the website or call them
You can call them
It says it's open year round ☺
16 adult, 12 for kids. 10 for 4 buckets of food. Cash only. Military discount available
Ticket Pricing $16 ADULTS $12 KIDS AGES 2-12 YEARS Children 1 and under FREE
$16 ADULTS $12 KIDS (2-12 years) 1 and under is free *CASH ONLY AT THE GATE*
Adult is $16, children 2-12 are $12 and one year and under are free. More than worth it!! This is my favorite place!!
No lions or tigers and the animals there walk around freely and they don't attack people. If there were tigers and lions walking around freely I will not go lol
I think they are but you might want to check with them to make sure
Have few campground and I don't know about kid friendly around there. You can look up online. Yeah, reelfoot campground.
There is a FB page with all the necessary information regarding prices and hours.
The ostrich are gonzo when it comes to food. I'd stay inside the vehicle lol. Pretty sure I posted a video of the ostrich feeding. Check it out
Not to my knowledge. My sone is autistic and dead and we didn't get a discount. But the place is extremely wheelchair friendly.
No, but the buckets are 4 for 10 and plenty big.
We passed the Buffalo they are known to hit your vehicle. And the camels will pull your feed bucket read out of your hand.
No, there are to many animals running around and they are "very friendly." I have been through it several times and I have never seen a motorcycle going through. As the animals are all running around with out restrictions a motorcycle going up against a buffalo might not be fun. But if your going to try it let me know. Might be interesting to watch.
$14 per person, well worth it though. Be sure to get plenty of food. It goes fast, you'll want some towards the end.
Leave at least 3 hrs for all the fun especially if you got kids
Yes, it is open year round.
Buy at least two buckets of food. Initial cute animals will get first bucket. You'll want another for a more spread out animals after
Yes. It is year round.
They are open everyday but Christmas and Thanksgiving that's what their website says bring cash be sure to buy buckets of food from them because the animals will grab your buckets especially the camels and llamas don't be nervous stand your ground and take your bucket back LOL
It's right outside of Jackson
Do know as we went as a family.
Only closed Christmas n thanksgiving but some animals are put up for winter time.
$14 for adults, $10 for kids 2-12. Feed buckets $3 or 4 for $10.
I wouldn't go with it raining
Yes they are only closed thanksgiving day and christmas
