Fr murchadh o’madagain has demonstrated limited ability in pastoral care. I struggled with some aspects of my life that I ultimately decided to present in confession. I found it difficult after that to have a comfortable relationship with this father. I was working on preparing to do service work with this church and my husband decided he wanted a divorce. This “father” took sides with my ex husband and when I tried to talk with the father he sat on the other side of the room and stated there was no assistance in regard to my needs. This is after I had made a major contribution to this church. I never felt so alone. The church that I had provided so much to had nothing to offer me. I am not talking about finances now - I mean offering of time, attention, service, etc. on the other hand, his mother was a complete mooch and the church offered everything including a place to live. I have not ever felt so abandoned in all my life as to when I asked my church for help and I was denied.
