I have seen occasional gators in the several stormwater retention ponds in the park. They are usually around 5 feet and I have never felt threatened by them, but be aware that someone recently posted on Facebook that there was a large 12 foot gator spotted there that was "acting aggressively". I wouldn't let my dog (s) run free, especially near the ponds. (There is a sign posted that dogs must remain on leash at all times). Also note, I have seen bobcats here and wild boar are plentiful, as well as gorgeous water fowl, owls, gopher tortoise, etc. Enjoy what nature has to offer, but stay on the well-manicured trails. I walk here with my dogs several times a week despite the gators.
They have several trails all diff lengths
Yes, as long as you throw the fish back.
