This was the easiest, simplest place to get married. I'm not sure why Colorado doesn't advertise this more. The clerk was awesome and seemed genuinely excited for us to get married. This city is doing something right if their government is this efficient. (In and out in less than 30 minutes).

Very easy. Everyone was super friendly, you can pay with a check, cash or card.

Went to do a Quitclaim Deed and Tracey was the best person I've ever had the pleasure of helping me. She was kind, witty, funny, and very helpful. Her whole professionalism made for a smooth and pleasant transition of paper work. She saved me time and money. Thanks Again Tracey for the Great Service 👍🏻

Walked in at 4:00pm for a few certified copies of my marriage certificate. Was out in 15 minutes. Super easy & everyone was friendly and helpful.

You don't need an appointment, but you have to go online and fill out your marriage license application/print the confirmation before heading in. Hope this helps! 🤓
6/25/20 it's only by appointment right now, https://denvergov.org/naoa/
There are FAQs located at www courts.state.co.us/Self_Help/annulment. If you can't prove that your marriage was not valid, it appears you would have to go through the regular divorce process. That page has more information.
Wills will only be at the Clerk and Recorders if they recorded them for public viewing.
Hi Betsy, Denver is set up differently than other counties in that we have a separate motor vehicle office that's not under Clerk and Recorder. DenverGov.Org and click Denver Motor Vehicle for locations and hours.
You have to go to the Big City&County Building on the second floor Courthouse Room 265
This is not done through the Clerk and Recorder, it is a function of The District Court. That's in the City & County building at 1437 Bannock St.
You can do your application on line and make an appointment. But you receive license in person after interview.
You can go online to denvergov.org/countycourts
Because of the coronavirus you have to set an appointment on line also you can do it viral online .
Yes, you had to make an appointment online to get your license. They also have it where you can fill out all of your information online for the license. That way you only to go in the office to pay and pickup. If you want a judge to marry you, you have to setup separate with them.
If you go to their website they have an online scheduling system.
I need a copy of my car been stolen in the year of 2002 in order to get my driver's licenes because the motor vehicles says I have a ticket under my maden name I have to sg Ho
How much is a marriage license in Denver.

Yes you can
Good Morning. Adoption is outside the purview of our office, but if you go to courts.state.co.us/Self_Help/stepparentadoption/ they have a good FAQ page.
Good Morning. We are set up differently from other Colorado counties in that we have a stand-alone Motor Vehicle Department that is not part of the Office of the Clerk and Recorder. If you Google Denver DMV they have locations and FAQs on their page.
Make it out to Manager of Finance.
For divorce, go to City and county building, room 256. 1437 Bannock.
