Bc if this place my life was ruined. Homeless. Had to give up kids, was already disabled. Taking away section8 for no reason. No worker calls no papers sent. I left over 350 voice-mail not 1 call back. Walked in plenty of times, left letters bc I knew yearly checkup was coming. Finally q letter came to tell me I lost my section 8 I had b4 moving to JC since 2004. Hearing was bs. A lady I never heard of. My worker.they just decided bc I never reached out to them I didnt care. My voice-mail didn't count visits letters. I earned this section 8 bc freeing myself from terrible abuse. It was accomplishment for me n my kids. We were saved by it. Able to feel safe. I did right all those years w section8. All to lose it bc u JC terrible employees do nothing. I heard rumors from others but I didnt believe it. Foolish me. So b4 I die i hope yall know u began the process of destroying my family. Destroying my health in the process.

Whoever’s answering the phone at the front desk need to be fired she got a bad attitude and was completely rude for absolutely no reason and I was being nice and polite and she on the other end huffing and puffing because HER phone is muffled and she had to repeat someone’s last name. YOU applied to that job and got hired If you mad go work somewhere else where you don’t have to talk to people.

Do you need the Jersey city HA contact.
U can Google Jersey city section 8 or the one I went to is 438 summit ave and security will send u to the right floor
My understanding is that you have to start with the agency you're with. JCHA cannot do anything without your agency in Massachusetts contacting them. You have to make sure that your Section 8 is transferable, so definitely contact your current agency & ask them what's the process to transfer to another state. If you have Massachusetts state section 8, you may need to also contact NJ state Section 8 which is with the NJ Department of Community of Affairs.
I will like to know for a Man that is 55 years old.
The Section 8 office has a list of apartments. You can pick up that list from the receptionist.
I put in in 2008 everywhere and just got in Dec 2019 11 years I waited your wait list can be 10 to 20 years or longer
As soon as possible
They should be you have to go to or contact the main office on 400 us Highway in Marion
peace upon you I found this message in my private box I didn't know who you are. But in general ... to search for apartments for a short period (you can review the ads of the mosque surrounding you) To rent a long-term apartment, you can consult the online housing ads and select the region, room number and the price.
www.jcha-gov.us
@ $1200-$1500
You have to go to specific housing authority's websites to see if their waiting lists are open of they are not do not believe that you can pay for one. You never have to pay for s voucher the best thing to do is call the housing authority and ask the question is your waiting list open and if not when will it reopen
There are 2 Section 8 offices in JC which address are you associated with
