I recently opened a bank account here and was helped by Tambra. She was kind and made the process very easy. Thank you!

I attempted to contact this Suncoast Branch location in Dade City twice today. The first attempt, upon being transfered by a Representative from the main call center I explained my concern. As soon as I mentioned Shared Member Branching, the call disconnected. So I contacted the call center again and was again transfered directly to a branch representative. I again mentioned shared member branching and again my call was immediately disconnected. So I decided to drive up to the branch to get answers to my question and to attempt to process my transaction. I explained to the bank teller what I wanted to do. A cash advance transaction using (shared member banking) After the first supposed attempt, the teller then told me, she received a message (I had exceeded my cash advanced transactions) I was advised they (Suncoast) had no limit to the amount I could withdraw on their end. I then contacted my bank and was made aware of the limit amount on my banks end, and the necessary limit was increased, so I could complete my transaction. I then went back in and proceeded to make the withdrawal again. The same teller gave me the same excuse again, so I had her attempt the withdrawal for the maximun amount based on what my bank had said (even though the limit had been removed) she still gave me the same excuse. At which point I contacted my bank again and was told no attempts had been made by this financial institution at all. The funds were available, and the limit had been increased! What kind of monetary games is this Suncoast CU playing when it comes to shared member banking? If you don't have the funds to serve customers in this capacity or are no longer able to, due to Covid-19 or for whateve your reason is; then get off the list for Shared Member Branching/CoOps rather than waste peoples precious time. This is foolishness at its finest!

I'm REALLY disappointed with the Branch Manager from the Dade City Suncoast Credit Union as he's supposed to be setting an example for not only his co-workers but customers as well. Am so angry that I had to take time to cool off before writing this review. Went in yesterday to open a 2nd checking account and he was the only associate available to assist me. After explaining why I was there, he asked for my membership card and opened the account without verifying the name on the membership card to my ID card. I can't stand the attitude of some of the associates at the Eiland Blvd. branch but at least they asked for BOTH cards no matter how many times I go in there. Will never go back to the Dade City Branch again

Open an account. That's it. 😀 Put $5.00 in a savings account, and you're good.
Yes, they do.
Yes you may! Upon approval you will become members with us. Thank you for your question, Debra!
