Love this Food City!!! Great customer service and very clean. Their guacamole in the food bar by the Deli is definitely one of the best I've ever had...including the restaurants I've been to! Tastes alot like homemade for sure!

Milk, check. Salad mix, check. Ground beef, check. Patio umbrella, check. Metal peacock yard art, check. Definitely not your usual grocery list, but this Food City is not your average grocery store. It has the most extensive floral department I've seen outside of a traditional florist shop, and they even do custom orders. They also have a nice selection of patio umbrellas and yard art. And while relaxing under the patio umbrella, you can enjoy one of their craft beers or specialty wines. Their beer and wine area is as impressive as the floral department. While those areas are highlights, the meat section has good quality cuts and the produce is very good quality. The store is very well kept and organized. The staff is mostly high school students who have been trained or selected for their friendly nature.

Today I went to my local Food city, which I shop at regularly. I went to get a card, chocolate and some flowers for my wife. I picked out a nice Rose arrangement, that I thought was pretty. I took it to my wife's work, with a lunch for her and surprised her with her co-workers. The arrangement was in a bag, and when I took it out of the bag, most of the greenery was falling off the arrangement, and the vase had only a little water left in it. It was quite embarrassing. I took a couple pics, and went by on the way home and spoke to Miko. She went above and beyond to help. She refunded my arrangement, and went over and selected another one that was almost like it, and more fresh and gave it with her compliments, and she apologized. WOW...I wasn't expecting it. I was hoping for just a refund, and Miko went the extra mile. I gave a her a big hug as I left.

It’s a veritable city of food in there. This is one of the only grocery stores I have ever been in where the employees walking the store actually ask you if you need help finding something. There is usually one thing or another I can’t seem to find and they can point me in the right direction.
