The Volusia County Health Department does not have a medical epidemiologist on staff. Some Florida counties have medical epidemiologists on staff and there are several in Tallahassee. The Department of Health state office in Tallahassee can provide information about a specific disease as it relates to public health and other county health departments that may have a medical epidemiologist.
